By aeroplane:

Book early to save money! Hannover is a trade fair city with a large airport. Airlines such as Tuifly, Germanwings and Air Berlin offer cheap flights from many European cities. See also www.tuifly.com and www.airberlin.com.

By train:

Hannover also has excellent rail links:: www.bahn.de.

After arriving at the Main Station (Hauptbahnhof) you continue your journey by tram: Go to the large square in front of the railway station ("Ernst-August-Platz") and take tram no. 10 in the direction of "Ahlem/ Limmer". Get out at the 6th stop ("Leinaustrasse"). Walk down the street "Leinaustrasse" which is right by the tram stop and after c. 300m turn right into the street "Zur Bettfedernfabrik". Go through the tunnel/gate onto the site of the "Bettfedernfabrik" cultural centre. After 20m turn left and follow the signs to the Tai Chi school.

By car:

If coming FROM THE NORTH OR WEST, exit from the A2 motorway at the "Herrenhausen" motorway exit and continue along the B6 main road towards "Hannover-Zentrum". The B6 becomes the "Westschnellweg" main road that will take you to your exit "Hannover/Linden-Nord". Exit here and when you get to the traffic lights turn left into the street "Limmerstraße". Then turn left into the street "Ungerstraße" and continue straight ahead until you get to the street "Wilhelm-Blum-Straße". Turn right into this street. Then turn left again into the street "Leinaustraße". Then take the next right into the street "Zur Bettfedernfabrik". You have reached your destination!

If coming FROM THE EAST, when you reach the motorway junction (Autobahnkreuz) "Hannover-Buchholz" turn off from the A2 motorway onto the A37/Messeschnellweg main road towards "Hannover/Zentrum". Take the exit "Hannover-Kleefeld/Zentrum" and when the road forks take the right-hand lane towards "Hannover-Zentrum/Congress-Zentrum". Then turn right into the street "Hans-Böckler-Allee". Continue straight ahead on this road. This road then becomes the street "Marienstraße". When you reach the square "Aegidientorplatz" take the middle lane and continue along the street "Friedrichswall". This road then becomes the "Leibnizufer". You are now driving parallel to the River Leine. Then turn left into the street "Goethestraße". When you reach the "Goethekreisel" roundabout turn right into the street "Braunstraße". When you reach the traffic lights turn left into the street "Spinnereistraße". Shortly before the next traffic lights (opposite the "Ihme-Zentrum" shopping centre) turn right into the street "Elisenstraße". Then turn right into the street "Leinaustraße". After c. 250m turn right again into the street "Zur Bettfedernfabrik". You have reached your destination!

If coming FROM THE SOUTH, then when you reach the motorway junction (Autobahndreieck) "Hannover-Süd" turn off from the A7 motorway onto the A37 motorway towards "Hannover". The A37 then becomes the B6 main road which you follow straight ahead. Take the exit "B6/B65" towards "Berlin/Peine/Minden/Ahlfeld/H-Bult/Zentrum/B3". When the road forks, take the left-hand lane towards "B6/B65". At the next fork take the right-hand lane towards "Hannover/Zentrum/Alfeld/Nienburg/Minden/Hameln/B6/B65/B3" and continue along the B6 main road. Then take the exit "Hannover/Linden-Mitte/Ihme-Zentrum" and turn left into the street "Fössestraße". Then turn left again into the street "Kötnerholzweg". Next, take the 2nd street on the right, "Velberstraße". This becomes the street "Leinaustraße". Continue straight ahead. Then turn right into the street "Zur Bettfedernfabrik". You have reached your destination!
